Must you register your stay in Uzbekistan?
Yes — it is mandatory. Any foreigner staying more than 3 working days must register their stay. Hotels, hostels and guesthouses do it automatically and give you a registration slip (often a QR) — keep every slip. For private accommodation (family, rental), you (or your host) must register via the e-Mehmon app within 3 working days. Without registration: fines or even deportation; slips may be checked on exit.
