Turkey consulate visa (18-35)

Last verified: June 2026 (Turkish consulate source)

How do 18-35-year-olds get the Turkey visa?

Algerians aged 18-35 — and anyone 15-50 without a qualifying Schengen/US/UK/Ireland visa/residence — cannot use the e-Visa and must obtain a visa at the Turkish consulate: build a file, appointment and in-person presence (biometrics). This is an agency-type process (Track A); OuiVisa refers you to an partner agency. For online cases, see the conditional e-Visa; for under-15/over-50, see Visa-free.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't 18-35 use the e-Visa?

Turkey reserves the conditional e-Visa for 15-18 and 35-50 (with a Schengen/US/UK/IE visa); 18-35 go through the consulate.

Can I avoid the consulate with a Schengen visa?

Only if you're 15-18 or 35-50; between 18 and 35, the consulate visa remains required.

Does OuiVisa handle this visa?

OuiVisa refers you to a partner agency (biometrics + presence); it is not an online e-Visa.

Do I need an online arrival card for Turkey?

No. Turkey requires no digital arrival card: the only online step is the e-Visa (for eligible cases), on evisa.gov.tr. Sites selling a 'Turkey arrival card' are not official.

Is approval guaranteed?
